El Paso Child Guidance Center Joins the Aliviane Family

Dear El Paso,

As you may know, Aliviane has diligently served our community for over 50 years in substance use prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery. We’ve come so far from where we started with just a few passionate community members wanting to help their neighbors struggling with substance use.

However, even with our continued efforts 1 in 5 El Pasoans face a mental illness and the growing relationship between mental health and substance use continues to expand. We want to do more to help our community through this ongoing crisis.

A few months ago, we were approached by one of our longest and most trusted partners in the community with the opportunity to transform the region with a progressive partnership. After months of discussions and planning we are proud to announce that the El Paso Child Guidance Center (EPCGC) has officially joined the Aliviane family to help address the needs of our community.

This strengthened partnership will ultimately help ensure the sustainability and expansion of crucial comprehensive behavioral health services for EPCGC and Aliviane.

In the new partnership, the El Paso Child Guidance Center will become an entity of Aliviane, maintaining its name, brand, nonprofit status, and array of services for children and families. Aliviane will provide fiscal and administrative support to further the missions of both organizations. The high quality staff will remain, central to the work of both organizations. Together, we will be able to provide an effective, efficient, and comprehensive continuum of care for our clients.
